These are FINAL results - 30 July 2007
Organiser's Report
With a turn-out of 90 runners, it would seem that clubs were putting in a last minute spurt prior to next
weekend's final round! It would also seem that LOK were being repaid for the very wet Holmbury event in March with the rain not falling until the last pieces of kit were being stored away in the club shed – many thanks for this!
I know that some of you might have thought the entry fee of £5.50 was a bit on the steep-side this year. This was a result of Enfield council changing their method of charging this year; instead of an annual fee, they are now charging us more than £1 for each competitor, which unfortunately we need to reflect in the entry fee; we hope, however, that this didn’t detract from an enjoyable,
if slightly warm run.
We hope to see you at our next event on 30th September, when we return to an area not used by LOK for many years …… Alexandra Palace, Highgate Woods and Queen’s Wood. As usual we have planned for another sunny day with views over London!

Planner's Report
After being abroad and not Orienteering for two years, I was a little apprehensive about taking on the
planner's role at Trent Park. Luckily I had Julie and Ronan to mentor me through the process, making some helpful tweaks to my original courses and Glen and Neil did most of the work on the control descriptions and SI. Overall, a great team effort.
In such a familiar area it’s always a challenge to find new features in the areas that are not smothered in brambles, I’m glad I managed to catch a few of you out.
