This was the first time we had used Hyde Park for some years. I worried whether it would all be too easy and of course this is no TD 5 area, but it is big enough to mean that there was a real challenge to figure out where to go and still get back in time maximising the scoring opportunity.

It looks like we got the timings right, with just 2 runners on the Open course getting all controls in the 45 minutes allowed, and only the top couple of teams coming close to maxima on the Corporate Decathlon event.

It was great to see so many people out running, and especially, courtesy of ActivityMix so many new to orienteering - who we hope will have enjoyed it enough to come back to another event soon.
